Michael O'Callaghan's Night Sparkle landed a good pot in the £50,000 fillies' handicap over an extended 1m5f in Newbury.

Dylan Browne McMonagle travelled over for the ride on the 9/2 shot who raced prominently throughout.

She was in front again with three furlongs to race and gamely saw it out by a neck from Flash Bardot who threw down her challenge in the final furlong.

This made it three wins on the bounce for Night Sparkle who annexed a maiden hurdle at Punchestown in May before winning a staying handicap on the Flat at Fairyhouse last month.
