O'Donoghue to partner Cape Blanco Colm O’Donoghue is to ride Irish Derby winner Cape Blanco in the Betfair King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot on Saturday. Regular rider Johnny Murtagh is unavailable after he picked up a six day ban for careless riding at Newmarket. The Derby winner is 6-1 third favourite in most places behind Workforce and Harbinger. O'Donoghue stated: "I'm very much looking forward to riding the horse on Saturday." "He's in good form and i'm very thankful to the trainer and the owners for giving me the opportunity to ride the horse."
