Ross O'Sullivan is looking forward to running Switch From Diesel in the Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday.

Still a maiden after three starts over flights, the smart bumper performer was beaten almost 20 lengths when fourth in the Grade 1 Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at Naas earlier this month.

“She’s in at the weekend in the Grade 1 and fingers crossed," said O'Sullivan.

“She ran well when fourth in Naas and we were hoping to get third for the black type. It will be something similar on Sunday and if she could get the black type, it would be great.”

Regarding his useful novice hurdler Strong Link, who won at last year's Galway festival and was last seen when second at Listowel, O'Sullivan added  “He’s on a break and we’ll aim for the summertime again and maybe back over fences.

“I’m looking forward to him, and his form is fairly strong now as he finished second to I’ll Sort That and he also beat Thedeviluno. All that form is tying in well, and he’s a nice horse to have over a fence.”
