Ross O'Sullivan is hoping that Club Manager can bring his homework to the track at Navan on Monday afternoon.

Twice successful on the Flat, the gelding has managed just the sole win over hurdles to date. However, having stepped up on earlier efforts when runner-up at Wexford last month, the Kildare trainer is hopeful that there is more to come.

He said: "I don't think Club Manager has shown me what he shows us at home. He's a very good work horse and I think he saves a little bit for himself.

"Has plenty of ability to win and it is going to happen somewhere along the way for him.

"He loves soft ground and I think he will be fine on heavy.

"I think he is well capable of doing it if it all comes right on the day.

"Two and a-half (miles) won't be a problem to him. He has a chance."
