O'Sullivan mulls over Christmas options for Baie Ross O'Sullivan's Baie Des Iles will run at either Limerick or Chepstow over Christmas. The stamina-laden mare will take in either the Tim Duggan Memorial Chase at Limerick or the Coral Welsh Grand National on December 27. Still only six, she finished fifth in the Welsh National last year and connections were pleased with her comeback effort over hurdles at Navan last month. "At the minute we haven't decided if she runs at Limerick or Chepstow," said O'Sullivan. "She ran a cracker at Chepstow last year when she finished fifth, she's another year older and stronger and she could have done with it being a bit softer. The ground as it was enabled a horse like Native River to use his class. "We're hoping to go for the Thyestes at Gowran and then the race at Punchestown she won last year (Grand National Trial), which has been upgraded to a Grade B and is worth 100,000 euro." He added: " She's only had a run over hurdles but it was the same last year before she went to Chepstow, so it will be a similar season. "She's a lot stronger. She seems to have been around a while, but she's only six rising seven. She's a tall mare and is growing into her frame now. "The Limerick race would lead us in nicely to the Thyestes as it's over just short of two and a half miles."
