O'Callaghan yet to finalise plans for recuperating Celeron Michael O'Callaghan’s Railway Stakes-winner Celeron continues his recuperation following a disappointing effort in the Phoenix Stakes last month, with the trainer yet to identify a definite target for the leading juvenile. A Curragh maiden winner on debut, the son of Mohaather landed the Group 2 Railway Stakes on his third start and while he subsequently failed to fire as a 6/4 chance in the Phoenix, returned lame behind. Celeron has been on the easy list since that August 9 defeat, and O’Callaghan reports “he won't go to the National Stakes as he only started back riding out on Monday. He properly jarred his right hind leg and he needed a couple of weeks off with that to let things settle down. "He's in great form, he's moving well now this week. "We'll sit down with the owners and make a plan for the rest of the season. There's the Dewhurst and there's other options for him as well. We haven't really discussed it yet."
