Joseph O'Brien completed a double at Dundalk this evening to move four winners clear of Pat Smullen at the head of the Jockeys' Championship when steering Prince Of Fire to win the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap (div 1).

O'Brien, in search of his first Championship, moved onto the 81 winner mark on the Charlie Swan trained winner, who moved clear entering the straight before staying on gamely to hold the challenge of Buy Back Bob

Afterwards Swan stated “I don't know whether we'll give him another run or give him a rest but he might go for a chase at Cork next Friday if the ground is reasonable.

“He likes it around here, I should have had him around here years ago.” Zalanga the 5/2 favourite for Mick Halford and Shane Foley, finished sixth. She was examined post race and found to be slightly lame.
