Aidan & Joseph O'Brien completed a double at Fairyhouse this afternoon (won the first with Parliament Square as their Warwick Avenue took the Value Packages at Fairyhouse Race.

Having opened at 5/1 with Paddy Powers last night, he was 4/1 this morning and opened on course at 11/4 before being backed into 5/2 at the off.

He soon led after they broke from the stalls and he was ridden and strongly pressed a furlong from home.

He kept on well under pressure inside the final furlong and held off the challenge of the 5/4 favourite Blue Corner for Mick Halford and Shane Foley by a head. Amira's Prince finished a neck back in third while Taameer was a further two and a half lengths back in last.

Winning rider Joseph O’Brien said afterwards: "He is improving with every run and he is a horse with a great attitude."

The winning 3yo son of Montjeu won his maiden at the Curragh last time out on his fourth career start having run green on his first few efforts.
