OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS MARKET RASEN Officials at Market Rasen will meet tomorrow to discuss prospects for Saturday`s meeting at the course as the foot and mouth outbreak continues to play havoc with the fixture list. The card is the sole surviving jumps meeting on Saturday and clerk of the course Charlie Moore is hopeful of racing taking place. However, the track will talk to the racing authorities and to the farming community in Lincolnshire before a final decision is reached. Moore said today: 'Obviously there is a lot of interest in Market Rasen on Saturday. 'We do have a meeting tomorrow where we will discuss the foot and mouth situation and talk to vets, the Jockey Club and local people. It may not be that a final decision is made tomorrow. 'Personally I am optimistic of racing. I am aware of the hardships facing racing but equally I am aware of the hardships facing the farming community. 'We are a rural track and I don`t want people to think we are taking a cavalier approach.'
