Oh So Charming more than paying his way Oh So Charming was second in the Westcare Home Care Claiming Hurdle at Sligo last year and went one better in this year's renewal. Front-running exertions told on Bryson who gave best before two out as a wall of horses moved into contention. Oh So Charming was in this group and Kevin Healy worked him to the front on the approach to the last. The 7/2 chance began to increase the margin on the run-in and was able to hold a keeping-on God Of Thunder (9/2) by two and a quarter lengths. Rich Belief, the 10/3 favourite, was another three lengths away in third. Owner Sean Browne said: "I've had great luck with Declan (Queally, trainer). I've had five horses with him, and four have won between point-to-points and the track. "I bought this fella for a thousand one night in Newmarket, at the Horses In Training Sale. He was the last horse into the ring that night. "He's a bit of a rogue and is in a claimer for a reason. He has his own ideas and needs everything to go his way, but I've had two summers of fun out of him anyway. "He doesn't have any tactical speed, so flat tracks are no good to him. He plugs away and somewhere with a hill suits him, as it slows down the others." There was a successful friendly claim for third-placed Rich Belief, with no claims for anything else.
