Omni Man easily overturned odds-on favourite Mocking (8/13) in the four-runner JTW Distribution Roscommon Maiden.

Bought for E110,000 at the Arqana Breeze Up and third, third and second on his first three starts, the Joseph O'Brien-trained victor was upped in trip to a mile-and-a-quarter today.

Sent off a 6/4 chance under Declan McDonogh, he tracked the market leader in second before easing to the front with a furlong and a half to go.

Quickly shooting clear from there, the Go Racing Limited-owned bay ultimately had seven-and-a-half lengths to spare at the line.

"He loved the ground and stepping up the two furlongs," stable representative Mick Halford commented.

"I'd say he’s getting better with racing as well. I'm sure Joseph will have a plan for him and we'll see where we go from there.

"The race set up lovely for him. We thought Johnny's horse would go along and we'd stalk him.

"It was impressive, when Declan asked him to quicken the style he quickened. He's a nice big progressive horse."
