On His Own is top lot at Brightwells sale Leopardstown Bumper winner On His Own was sold for £240,000 at the Brightwells Sale that took place yesterday at Cheltenham racecourse. The former Oliver Mckiernan trained 6-y-o was bought by Howard Johnson. Another recent Irish bumper winner also fetched big money at the sale. Wide margin Navan scorer Forty Foot Tom was bought by bloodstock agent Gerry Hogan for £220,000 and is reported to be joining the Co. Cork stables of Jim Culloty.
