One Look snapped up by Wathnan Racing One Look, fresh from a return to winning ways for Paddy Twomey, has been added to the Wathnan Racing roster. Classic ambitions replaced by Group success Winner of the Goffs Million on debut, One Look carried Classic hopes earlier this year but came up short in her trial in May. She ended last season strongly and opened this campaign with Group Three success at the Curragh. Although quick ground blunted her chance at Royal Ascot in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes, she bounced back when stepping up in trip to take the Group Three Meadow Court Stakes. Wathnan Racing plot next steps The daughter of Gleneagles now has options at the Irish Champions Festival, including the Matron Stakes and the Blandford Stakes, before eventually beginning a second career as a broodmare. “One Look is a fine racemare, with plenty of options from a mile to 10 furlongs before she retires to stud,” said Wathnan’s racing adviser Richard Brown. He added: “She’s been very well campaigned and is enjoying a tremendous season. We’re thrilled to have her.”
