One more big outing for Fiesolana Willie McCreery's stable star Fiesolana will end her season in either the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp or the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket. The four-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful campaign, winning four times, including three races at Group Three level. She was far from disgraced when beaten into fifth behind La Collina in the Group One Matron Stakes at Leopardstown last time out and the former Jean Claude-Rouget-trained filly may return to France before heading to the sales. "Fiesolana has two options, the Prix de l'Opera (October 6) or the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket (October 12), and then she'll head to the December Sales at Newmarket," said McCreery.
