Onenight earmarked for Solonaway Connections of Onenightidreamed hope to kickstart an autumn campaign for the progressive gelding in the Solonaway Stakes at the Curragh on September 12. The four-year-old is very much ground dependent and is on a summer sabbatical after winning both of his starts this season, the Irish Lincolnshire Handicap and the Group Three Amethyst Stakes. "Hopefully he'll have an autumn campaign. We're gearing towards that," said trainer Tommy Stack's son and assistant, Fozzy. "Maybe the Solonaway Stakes on Champions weekend, the mile Group Two, is where we'll go." Stack reported that Waltzing Matilda, who sprang a surprise in the Grade Two New York Stakes at Belmont Park last month, has stayed in America after being sold. "She's staying out there. She was sold. It was brilliant for her to win out there," he said.
