A trip to Dubai is under consideration for Ansgar following his all-the-way victory in Saturday's Park Stakes at Doncaster.

Sabrina Harty's stable star has enjoyed a fantastic campaign, winning the Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh and the Supreme Stakes at Goodwood before striking at Group Two level for the first time on Town Moor.

With a sound surface essential for her charge, Harty insists all future plans will be dictated by the weather, making a potential trip to Dubai an obvious option.

Harty said: "It's great we've been able to find a couple of good seven-furlong races for him as that's his trip and James (Doyle) said if the ground had been a bit tighter he would have won very easy yesterday.

"He's such a massive horse, he's had problems with growing pains and things like that and luckily he's had very patient owners. It's all coming together now.

"The ground was as loose as he'd want it yesterday, so we'll have to see what the weather is doing before we make any plans.

"We'd love to go for something like the Prix de la Foret, but it's probably doubtful you'd get the ground in Longchamp.

"We don't mind going a mile if the ground is right, so all options will be considered.

"Going to Dubai might be an option."
