Original Bishopscourt Cup to be sold The Bishopscourt Cup which was presented by the Earl Of Clonmell to the farmers of Co. Kildare as a challenge cup in 1903 is to be auctioned by O'Reilly's Fine Art in Dublin on Wednesday 21st October. The magnificent trophy is engraved with the winners of the Punchestown event from 1903 to 1935 when it was won outright by Mr. P J McDermot. He had won the race for the third consecutive time that year. The auction house has put an estimate of €2,800 to €3,400 on the trophy.
