The going has eased at Limerick ahead of this afternoon's all Flat card at the Greenmount Park venue.

Following 6mm of rain overnight the going is now described as good to firm, good in places.

The seven-race meeting gets underway at 2.50pm, with the featured Big 50 Happy Valley Brewery Classic Handicap scheduled to go to post at 4.35pm.

Racing also takes place at Downpatrick this afternoon, with a National Hunt card commencing at 2.30pm.

The going at the northern track remains good, although some showers are forecast this morning with a mainly dry afternoon.

The AJC Group Handicap Chase is the highlight on a seven-race card.
