Overturn in top form ahead of Ebor

Donald McCain says Overturn is thriving ahead of the totesport Ebor at York on Wednesday.

The six-year-old is a well fancied 11-2 chance with Sky Bet following wins in the Northumberland Plate on the Flat and the Galway Hurdle over jumps.

And his Cholmondeley handler is happy his charge has recovered from his exertions at Ballybrit three weeks ago.

"He's in terrific nick and seems to be very straightforward," McCain told At The Races.

"We've nothing to lose in a way. We've kept him going and he just seems to thrive on his racing.

"If he doesn't win it's not the end of the world and he can go back jumping. I see he's rated 159 now (over jumps) and that is championship hurdle races."
