PLUMPTON ABANDONED Tomorrow`s meeting at Plumpton has been abandoned as the course is unfit for racing.Following an inspection of the track this afternoon, the stewards found that there were still some false patches.Clerk of the Course David McHarg said: 'The stewards found that the course was not fit for racing. It has not dried out as we had expected and there are still some false patches.'We have had some drizzle today and the forecast is very mixed.'
