Patient Pipe Prays For Rain David Pipe is praying for rain, along with his contemporaries, so that he can unleash his stable stars Our Vic and Well Chief.Our Vic was due to make his seasonal reappearance in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby last weekend but fast ground denied him a repeat bid.Well Chief is due to make his return in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on December 8.'The horses are running fine but we just need some rain, like everybody else,' said Pipe.'Our Vic would have gone to the Charlie Hall but the ground was too quick so he will probably go straight to the Betfair now (Haydock, November 24).'Well Chief is fine but he probably won't be out until Tingle Creek time,' he told At The Races.(C) PA Sport
