Peterborough Chase in doubt Huntingdon's high-profile meeting on Thursday is already in doubt with course officials due to stage an inspection at 8am on Wednesday. The course is currently frozen in places following a hard frost overnight and clerk of the course Andrew Morris is not optimistic about the chances of the fixture, which features the totesport.com Peterborough Chase. "The course is frozen in places and although there was a slight thaw over the weekend, we experienced minus 5C last night. We are forecast continued overnight frosts of minus 3C to minus 4C from now until Wednesday morning, with day temperatures getting up to freezing or 1C at the very most," said Morris. "There is a chance that we might see a slight warm up in temperatures from Wednesday afternoon onwards, but at this stage it doesn't demonstrate enough improvement to give us much of a chance to thaw out. "We'll look at 8am on Wednesday morning before declarations and at this stage, we wouldn't have much confidence in our ability to race."
