Pinmoney built on his recent runner up effort in first time cheekpieces and with the tongue tie applied today he captured the Good Guess At Tally-Ho Handicap under Shane Foley for trainer Danny Murphy at 10/1.

The Pinatubo gelding raced towards the rear of the near side group in the early stages of the race, and he was pushed along three-furlongs out. He switched left towards the centre under two-furlongs out to get a clear run.

He started to make headway inside the final furlong before hitting the front inside the final 100 yards. The chestnut gelding won comfortably at the line, so there may be more to come from him.

Danny Murphy, “I thought he’d improved from the run in Sligo, and he had a chance at that level. Shane thinks he can win again.

“He’s bred in the pick by Pinatubo out of a sister to a Group 1 winner.”
