Pipe Sends Out First Runners David Pipe has been issued with his training licence by the Horseracing Regulatory Authority and will send out his first runners at Kelso and Exeter today.Pipe had to appear before the licensing committee on Shaftesbury Avenue in London for them to consider his application to take over from his father and 15-times champion, Martin, who announced his retirement on April 29.HRA public relations officer Paul Struthers said: 'David has been issued with a combined licence, which is not temporary, which runs until January 31, 2007.'Pipe will have to complete two training courses before his licence runs out next year.Struthers continued: 'He has been informed that between now and the end of January he will have to complete modules two and three, although he has been told that if wants to ask for an exemption from module two he can.'Module two covers business and three is staff and employment but he completed module one, which covers racehorse care and management, a while ago.'The horses running for him will run under his name.'?
