Plasterer on course for Tingle Creek Tom Cooper has issued an upbeat report on stable star Forpadydeplasterer as he prepares for the Tingle Creek Chase and a possible clash with fellow Irish raider Big Zeb at Sandown on Saturday. Last season’s Irish Independent Arkle winner chased home the Paul Nicholls-trained Herecomesthetruth on his seasonal reappearance in the Grade 2 Ladbrokes.com Chase at Down Royal earlier this month, and his trainer is expecting a big improvement from that display this time around. “Everything is super with him and he seems to have come on great from his first run back,” Cooper told the Racing Post. “He has made marked improvement and I’m very happy with his Sandown preparation at this stage. It promises to be a real good race and the plan is to travel over with our fellow on Thursday.”
