With no racing at home today, several trainers have taken the opportunity to send runners across the Irish Sea.

John O'Donoghue has two runners engaged at Ffos Las.

Parkside Boy, who won on debut at Dundalk in April, was last seen finishing unplaced in a valuable conditions' stakes in Chester in May. He contests the opening novice stakes over five furlongs.

The stable's Reinforce bids to make the breakthrough in the Class 5 handicap over six furlongs.

John McConnell sends Champagnesocialist over to Hexham for the extended 2m4f maiden hurdle for which he is even-money favourite. He has finished runner-up in four of his last five races over flights and gets first-time cheekpieces.

Johnny Murtagh and Kevin Coleman have identified opportunities in Pontefract today.

Murtagh's Icykel has been mixing in good company since winning her maiden at Dundalk in February. She is gunning for black-type in the Listed fillies' and mares' race over an extended 1m4f. Ben Coen travels over for the ride.

Derry Lad won on his travels in Hamilton last month and represents Coleman in the Class 3 handicap over the extended 12 furlongs.
