Pletcher Running Scared Of Dylan

Todd Pletcher feels Arc winner Dylan Thomas could stand in his way of Breeders' Cup Turf glory at Monmouth Park on Saturday.

Pletcher pits 9-2 second favourite English Channel against Aidan O'Brien's hero in a 3million showdown at the New Jersey track on Saturday night.

'I wish he (Dylan Thomas) wasn't here,' admitted the leading American trainer.

Johnny Murtagh, who will ride the four-year-old this weekend, did little to dispel American fears.

He said of William Hill's 5-6 favourite: 'There's only nine runners so it's a small field and he has the best form in the race.

'His form in Europe has been great and he should be very hard to beat.'
