Point to point spring provisional summary announced The provisional summary fixtures for the Spring point to point season has been announced. Lisgoold stages the first meeting of 2011, on January 2, with the season concluding with an 8YO & Upwards Maiden, for novice riders, at Ballingarry, Co Tipperary on Monday June 6. With no meetings held last week, Derek O'Connor maintains a lead (18-16) of two wins over nearest rival Jamie Codd at the head of the Jockes' Championship. There is a three-way tie at the head of the Handlers' Title, with last season's winner Colin Bowe, James Macauley and Simon Crawford each tied with six winners each. Paurick O'Connor, brother of Derek O'Connor, currently has five winners trained.
