Ralph Beckett's St Leger heroine Simple Verse makes her second start of the season, as does the David Elsworth-trained Arabian Queen, who is best known for inflicting a shock defeat on Golden Horn in the Juddmonte International at York last August. Cumani's Yorkshire Cup third Second Step, the James Fanshawe-trained Star Storm and Rod Millman's stable star Master Carpenter complete the field.
