Trainer Robson De Aguiar reports Group 1 winning juvenile Power Blue to be on track to make his reappearance in the 2000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown.

A maiden winner at the Curragh on his racecourse debut last May, the son of Space Blues held his own in black type company throughout the remainder of the campaign.

Stepped up to the highest level on his final start, the Amo Racing Limited owned colt landed the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh.

De Aguiar said:" He is cantering now, he has two canters every day.

"He's getting stronger and I'm very happy with him.

"Still thinking in that way (Guineas Trial at Leopardstown). At the moment, that is the plan."
