Eddie Lynam is convinced Sole Power still has lots to offer after he made a deeply satisfying return to action at Meydan on Saturday.

The evergreen sprinter is now a nine-year-old, but he is still a horse for the big occasion judged by a short-neck third in the Meydan Sprint at the weekend.

Sole Power will now be trained for the Group One Al Quoz Sprint, a race he won by half a length 12 months ago, on Dubai World Cup night on March 26.

Lynam said: "He's fine, there's not a bother on him.

"It was a boxed ticked. Every year you start off wondering if age will eventually catch up with him as he seems to be have been around forever.

"But he showed at the weekend he's still got plenty left, which was great to see.

"The race on Dubai World Cup night is now the plan."
