Rachael Blackmore headed north for one ride at Down Royal and she made it a winning one on Premium Package in the two and a half mile maiden hurdle.

The five-year-old gelding disputed after four out and was ridden into the lead after the third last. He kept on stoutly to prevail by five lengths at 3/1.

Henry de Bromhead’s charge beat I’m So Busy (8/1) into second and he was four and three quarter lengths ahead of 4/1 shot Red Gerry

Rachael Blackmore said: “He had a lovely first run in Roscommon and he’s always been a very nice horse at home.

“He won a point-to-point for Liam Kenny, so it’s great to get him off the mark today.

“In Tramore we were disappointed with him but he’s back to himself today and it was a great run.”
