Prendergast 'very proud' of Skitter Scatter Patrick Prendergast was proud of Skitter Scatter's performance following her narrow defeat at the Curragh on Sunday. The two-year-old filly beat the high-class colt Sergei Prokofiev when shedding her maiden tag at Dundalk in April before finishing third in a Listed event at Naas the following month. She stepped up to Group Three level in Sunday’s Grangecon Stud Stakes and ran a race full of promise to finish a half-length second to Aidan O’Brien’s hot favourite So Perfect. Prendergast said: "He (Ronan Whelan) gave her a good ride and I’d say they are good fillies. My filly is only a little thing, but she has some attitude and I’m very proud of her. "I don’t know what I am going to do with her, I have to figure it out yet. "I believed she belonged in this company and now I know she does. "She had black type and now she has bold type, so she’s worth a lot of money."
