Patrick Prendergast is looking forward to Skitter Scatter’s next race after her excellent run to finish second in a Group Three contest at the Curragh on Sunday.

The County Kildare handler will consider three options — the Silver Flash Stakes at Leopardstown and Star Stakes at Sandown, both on July 26, and the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot two days later.

Skitter Scatter only found So Perfect too good by half a length in the Grangecon Stud Stakes over six furlongs.

Of her three possible targets, two are over seven furlongs with the Princess Margaret over six.

“I was delighted with Skitter Skatter. She’s got a lovely, honest temperament. She’s a very likeable filly,” said Prendergast.

“I’d have a high opinion of the winner. She definitely looks like an animal that wants seven furlongs, but she had run well over five in the Queen Mary.

“She’s come out of the race perfect. She is taking her racing very well.

“She might go to England. There are two races in July. One is a Group Three at Ascot and the other is a Listed race at Sandown. We’ll enter here in both.

“We’ll look at those and if we were to stay at home there is the Silver Flash here at Leopardstown.”
