Prendergast in no rush with Guineas trio

Kevin Prendergast is hanging fire on plans for his three fillies that ran in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

The County Kildare trainer was generally satisfied with the performance of his trio - Handassa, Rose Bonheur and Seeharn - who finished eighth, ninth and 13th respectively behind the winner, Misty For Me.

"I was happy with two of them, but the third (Seeharn) is by Pivotal and she didn't like the ground. It was that bit fast for her," said Prendergast.

"I thought Rose Bonheur ran well. She was only beaten six lengths which is a good run for her.

"She has graduated from a mark of 82 to the low 100s. She's improved and has won two out of four, so it's not so bad.

"I've no real plans for her but the next time she runs will be in a Stakes race.

"Handassa was only about a neck in front of her. She's OK and we're just waiting for a little ease in the ground for her as well."
