Prendergast talks plans with Vega Lina De Vega has deserved a sharp rise in class after her flawless winning debut at the Curragh on Sunday. Patrick Prendergast's inmate, a three-year-old daughter of Lope De Vega, claimed victory by two and three-quarter lengths in a one-mile fillies' maiden. Lina De Vega will remain in races against her own sex this year, but a step into Group company could be forthcoming. Prendergast said: "She's a very nice filly but she won't race much this year. "As for plans, there's the Fairy Bridge, which is a Group Three at Tipperary over seven and a half furlongs in August, and also the Group Three Snow Fairy Stakes (Curragh, August 28), to think about. "There's also a race in October at Naas, the Garnet Stakes, we could go for. "She's a lightly-made, lightly-framed filly, so we wouldn't want to run her on heavy ground. "She's still immature, really, so I think she'll definitely be a better four-year-old."
