Prendergast wary of facing Fame

Choose Me's participation in Sunday's Keeneland Royal Whip Stakes at the Curragh will depend on whether the classy Fame And Glory is likely to line up.

The latter, winner of last year's Irish Derby, was an impressive winner of the Coronation Cup at Epsom on his latest appearance and Choose Me's trainer Kevin Prendergast has no desire to let his filly take him on.

"I definitely wouldn't be keen if Fame And Glory is running. In my opinion, he should be favourite for the Arc, so I don't really want to take him on," said Prendergast.

"Our filly is in good form and she ran a good race at the Curragh the last day.

"The easier ground would suit her and the extra furlong would suit her, so we'll see what Fame And Glory is doing and then we can decide what to do."
