Present makes trip worthwhile

Habitual front-runner Hidden Present galloped his rivals into the ground to take the concluding handicap chase at Limerick.

It proved a profitable trip from Downpatrick for trainer Barney Jones as the son of Presenting recorded his second win over fences.

Andrew Lynch 's mount was pressed turning for home in the 2m3f contest but responded well and asserted going to the last.

Hotpot Bundle Of Fun (5/6 from 6/4 in the morning) stayed on close home without ever threatening, only getting within three-and-a-quarter lengths.

The winner is owned by Terry Dunlop, from Hillsborough, who revealed that his brother Alan owns Irish National winner Organisedconfusion.

"It took us three-and-a-half hours to get down. He jumped great and it's great to get it," added Dunlop.
