The Prince Of Wales's Stakes is the highlight on day two of Royal Ascot at 4.20pm and our team of Emma Nagle, Johnny Ward and Stephen Harris previewed the feature on our Royal Ascot Preview Show.

See their selections below in what is a competitive renewal.

Stephen Harris - Selection: Map of Stars (each-way)

“I thought that Map of Stars might be favourite, to be honest, when I did the race. I think this is one of those races, if you play 4-1, 9-2 - Map of Stars I think is a cracking bet.

"With Map of Stars, he should have won the Prix Ganay. He had too much to do and came flying. The yard’s in great form 29% strike rate.”

“He’s got a smart turn of foot, he’ll get a patient ride. I didn’t fancy See The Fire. That York race she won was strange only one horse was backed and the rest looked drunk three furlongs out.

“This is a good race to be a punter, not many runners, and if you beat one of the front two, you might beat both.”

Johnny Ward - Selection: Anmaat (each-way)

“I feel Los Angeles on the ground is probably a little bit vulnerable. He’s going to be well off the bridle coming into the straight. He’ll find plenty, but he’s probably there to be taken.

“I’m with Anmaat. He’s Godolphin’s representative, lightly raced, effective on this ground, and he comes into the race after a run at Sandown, which he should come on from.

“You’re looking for an each-way angle. The main take: Los Angeles is vulnerable.”

Emma Nagle - Each-way mention: Map of Stars

“I thought he was an interesting runner. I heard James Doyle interviewed during the week and he definitely fancied his chances.

“Sosie came out and boosted that form winning the Prix d‘Ispahan next time. A very interesting contender for Wathnan.”
