Proportions Limbers Up For Marois

French superstar Divine Proportions continued her preparation for Sunday´s Prix Jacques Le Marois when working on the track at Deauville.

Pascal Bary´s filly will bid to stretch her unbeaten run to 10 when facing older colts for the first time, with the dual Classic heroine set to clash with the likes of Godolphin´s Dubawi and Queen Anne Stakes winner Valixir.

'Divine Proportions worked on Tuesday morning with a stablemate over six and a half furlongs of the Deauville straight mile,' said Alan Cooper, racing manager to owners the Niarchos family.

The daughter of Kingmambo warmed up for this weekend´s clash when landing the Prix d´Astarte last month, and Cooper continued: 'She went well and has come on nicely since the Astarte.

'She wasn´t 100 per cent fit that day and it was always going to be her comeback race - Sunday is the main event.

'She has already beaten colts in the Prix Robert Papin and the Morny, but this is the first time she has raced against older colts like Valixir. We are very much looking forward to the race.'

Cooper also confirmed that the team would be running a pacemaker, although they are yet to decide who that will be.
