Punchestowns impresses in gallop Leading Ladbroke World Hurdle hope Punchestowns left trainer Nicky Henderson "very impressed" by his workout over a lap of Newbury racecourse on Sunday morning. Ridden by Marcus Foley, Punchestowns worked alongside Golden Flight (Andrew Tinker) and Shouldhavehadthat (Sam Waley-Cohen) and pulled ahead of that pair in the final furlong. Henderson said: "I appreciate we've got Kasbah Bliss to beat at the festival, but you couldn't fail but to be impressed by Punchestowns here today. It was a very good piece of work and I'm delighted."
