Quevega for Punchestown Willie Mullins reports his David Nicholson Mares Hurdle winner Quevega to be firmly on target for Punchestown. However he has yet to decide on a race for his star. "Hopefully she will run at Punchestown," the trainer told At The Races. "I think the mares' hurdle would be the obvious race for her but she will be well entered up all week." Mullins has not ruled out a tilt at the Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle next season. "She will be entered up in the Champion but the Mares race would seem ideal for her. I think she'd need to improve a bit to win a Champion but one or two form experts tell me she is up to that standard. I hope they're right!"
