Quick double for Ewing on Dinoland Sam Ewing bagged a quick double at Tramore this evening when Dinoland ran out a cosy winner of the Racing TV Handicap Chase for trainer Ross Crawford. The Doctor Dino gelding went to post 5/2 favourite to follow up on his easy success at Downpatrick just over three weeks ago. Ewing produced his mount to lead over the second last and he stayed on strongly to record a 13 length success over Killinure Lass. Crawford said afterwards:- “I don’t have him that long. He won a couple of races for John McConnell and he has mostly northern owners. “It’s taken me a couple of runs to find the key to him but he seems to be in good form now anyway. “Good ground and a jump is probably the key to him. “It took me four hours getting here today and it will be a wee bit shorter going home anyway!”
