Quinn to answer neglect charge

Trainer Mick Quinn will face a hearing of the Disciplinary Committee of the Jockey Club at 10.30am tomorrow.

The inquiry concerns an allegation that the condition of three of Quinn`s horses - Winsome George, Arab Gold and Zola - fell below the overall condition expected of a licensed trainer, in contravention of Rule 51 of the Rules of Racing.

The matter came to light following a complaint by a member of the public to the RSPCA in March, when, after compiling a report, the Club decided there was a case to answer.
