Quito stays away from Sandown Irish trainer Colm Murphy has decided not to send Quito De La Roque over to Sandown for the Sportingbet Future Stars Chase on Friday. The County Wexford-based handler put the JNwine.com Champion Chase winner in at the Esher track to give him another option for the Down Royal Grade One winner. Quito De La Roque is likely to stay nearer home for his next race, with the John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown on December 11 the probable target. "He definitely won't go to Sandown. Everything's fine, it was just an option, something to play with, but we've put that to bed now," said Murphy. "We've decided to bypass it and there's a great chance he'll run in the John Durkan."
