Racing returns to Fairyhouse Racing action returns to Fairyhouse next Wednesday, June 29, after the Turf Club passed the track fit for racing this week. The Co. Meath venue was unable to host meetings this month on Wednesday 1st and the 15th due to problems with the course, and those dates were subsequently switched to Tipperary and Navan respectively. The Group 3 Irish Stallion Farms EBF Brownstown Stakes over 7 furlongs is the feature race next Wednesday, and the admission price for this meeting and the subsequent one on Sunday July 10 is only €5 per person with children under 16 getting in for free. There are also a number of race packages available including a “Summer Sizzler” which includes admission, race card, €5 tote bet, hot roll and a glass of wine or a pint for only €25 per person, while the Summer Restaurant package of a two course meal and admission costs only €40 per person. Acting Manager Peter Roe stated: “We are delighted to be back racing and look forward to two top class days on Wednesday evening 29th June and Sunday 10th July, which is our summer family day. We have reduced our admission price to €5 and put together value admission and catering packages from €25 to €40, to build on the success of our Easter Festival.”
