Rain getting into Killarney ground

Heavy showers at Killarney have caused the ground to ease further this afternoon.

The official description is now yielding. The ground had earlier been good, good to yielding in places on the National Hunt course that will be used tonight.

This was in itself an ease on conditions from the opening two days. With further rain forecast the going is subject to change again before the action commences.

Following 3mm of rain overnight Galway is now good ahead of their three-day fixture this weekend.

Downpatrick race on Monday and the ground is currently good to firm, firm in places up north with watering taking place.
