Raise You Up leads home O'Sullivan 1-2 in RED MILLS Final Trainer Ross O'Sullivan dominated the finish of the Connolly's RED MILLS Irish EBF Auction Hurdle Series Final at Punchestown as Raise You Up led home a stable 1-2. Tracking the leaders under Danny Gilligan, the Lorus Projects Limited owned 5/1 chance travelled strongly in third place after jumping the penultimate flight. Coming through to head leader Vitorio Piel early in the straight, the gelding survived a mistake at the last, before powering clear to win by four lengths. Stablemate De Jour En Jour stayed on strongly from out of the chasing pack to grab second close home, with Vitorio Piel back in third. “There are a good crew over from England and also from Cork. He’s owned by a very good man in Richard Murphy,” said O’Sullivan. “They stayed over last night and they’re staying again tonight so they’ll give it the hoo-hah! “He’s a nice horse. He won twice during the winter and the plan then was to come for the final. It’s great prize-money by Red Mill and it’s a great initiative. “He’ll probably go chasing now next year. “Our horse, owned by the Monroes in Galway, finished second.
