"He's a smashing horse. He's a big baby and done well for only his third start. He has a good attitude," said Michael Halford after Godolphin's Golden Raven (5/1) brought up a double for himself and Shane Foley when triumphant in the Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Package Handicap at Dundalk.
Runner-up Bishan Bedi had a rough passage through when trying to come through from behind, and Golden Raven also had to switch, to the outer, to get a run.
At the line a neck split them and there was just a short head to Toccata Blue in third.
Halford, earlier on the mark with Rezeki added: "He got a little taken off his feet early but then travelled well and Shane let him find his feet turning in. He was in against a seasoned bunch of horses today.
"I'd say that'll be it for the season. He'll keep improving. He has the size and scope."
