Red Trail (6/1) battled on well to land the first division of the Praha Handicap under Jack kearney.

Having tracked the leaders, the Galileo Gold filly, trained by Andrew McNamara, took over in front under three furlongs out and showed a good attitude to fend off several challenges. Firstman was the last to have a go but was a neck adrift at the line with Angel On Fire just half a length further back in third

Kearney said: "I thought she would have a good chance. I knew the step up in trip would suit her.

"She gave me two good runs the last twice and I was hoping for a good run there today.

"She loved the ground and gave me a lovely spin. She travelled through the race lovely and she was much more straightforward. She has done that nicely.

"I saw them coming with a fast rattle but I thought I had it.

"He (Andrew McNamara is very good to me and I want to say thanks a million to him.

"I think she would (go on the all-weather), she handled good ground the last two days. She's really versatile."
